Two options. Remove Ads is a one-time $5.99 purchase that strips every banner, native, and full-screen ad. Premium ($2.99/month or $19.99/year with a 7-day free trial) does the same and unlocks unlimited saves, recipe notes, shopping list, ingredient filter, and iCloud sync. Both are available from the Profile tab.
Rewarded ads (the optional “Watch ad for +15 PP” card on the Points tab) stay available either way — they’re opt-in, and watching them is how free users still earn Potato Points fast.
Go to Profile → tap Restore Purchases on the Remove Ads card or the paywall sheet. Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID you used for the purchase. If ads still appear after a Restore + full app restart, email us with your Apple ID region and the approximate purchase date.
If you reinstalled the App, local data is gone — that’s iOS behavior, not ours. If you’re a Premium subscriber with iCloud sync enabled, your data should reappear on relaunch as soon as iCloud syncs. Make sure you’re signed into iCloud (Settings → [your name]).
Non-Premium users: local data only. There’s no way to recover it after uninstall. Premium is the recommended path if you want device-loss protection.
New recipes ship a few at a time. Pull to refresh the Home or Discover tab, or background and re-open the App. If you’re offline, you’ll see a banner at the top and only the recipes already cached locally.
Apple controls subscription billing. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → All Things Potato → Cancel. Or tap “Manage” on the Premium card in the App’s Profile tab to open the same page directly. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Profile → Notifications. The master switch turns everything off; below it you can mute individual categories (Daily reminders, Weekend prompts, Cooking nudges, We miss you, Premium reminders).
